一 | (ECNS) -- Adora Magic City, China’s first domestically built large cruise ship, set sail from Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, on Thursday, bound for Vietnam. Shenzhen marked the departure with a traditional water salute ceremony. The voyage marks Adora Magic City’s first international cruise route departing from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Carrying nearly 4,600 passengers, the cruise ship will call at Chan May Port in Hue, Vietnam, during the five-day, four-night voyage. Its Shenzhen-based cruise season will run through September 16, offering five-day, four-night and six-day, five-night itineraries to Chan May Port in Hue, Ha Long Bay and Cam Ranh Port in Nha Trang, Vietnam, as well as Jeju in the Republic of Korea. A special nine-day, eight-night voyage will depart on August 27, calling at Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Muara in Brunei and Nha Trang in Vietnam along the ancient Maritime Silk Road. China’s second domestically built large cruise ship, Adora Flora City, is scheduled for delivery on November 6 this year and will embark on its maiden voyage from Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Homeport in Guangdong Province on Nov. 22. While much of the early studies of Pompeii were focused on the city’s elite, archeologists have increasingly become interested in the lives of the city’s middle and lower classes.,The excavation of a home or “domus” started in 2018 and is now paying dividends. The house had a courtyard with a well-adorned cistern or water tank, but other parts of the house show that the owner may not have had unlimited funds to decorate their house. One of the five rooms was left unpainted and with an earthen floor. Archeologists believe it may have been used for storage.,They also identified a bedroom with the remains of a bedframe and cloth from a pillow. Archaeologists also discovered a storage trunk.
